OPERATION THEATRE

• Two modern major Operation theatre and two minor theatres
• The theatres are air-conditioned and have all modern infrastructure.
• The infection control protocols are strictly adhered to and swabs for bacterial cultures are routinely collected and tested.Monthly average 250 major surgeries and 120 minor surgeries are going on.

EMERGENCY DEDEPARTMENT

Emergency Services provides round the clock emergency services for women and children. Expert 8 casualty medical officers for managing the emergency cases reporting at the casualty. The critical cases which require higher levels of care are immediately referred to Medical Colleges in our well equipped ambulance with a trained team of professionals.

LABORATORY

A well equipped laboratory which is working for 24 hours.Laboratory is committed to producing reliable patient test results in a manner necessary to ensure appropriate and timely patient careOur laboratory is the first in the district to provide Thyroid testing services with Fully Automated Immuno Assay Analyser.  

AUTISM CLINIC

Deals with disorder of neural development characterized by impaired social interaction, communication and by restricted and repetitive behavior Established on 4th May 2010 The services provided by the clinic include Newborn Followup, Behaviour Therapy, Guidance and Counseling, Special Education and Speech Therapy.

NEW BORN SPECIAL CARE UNIT

Special Neonatal Care unit (SNCU) with the state of the art facilities was inaugurated on 4th November 2013.Providing critical care to the premature babies, low birth weight and for sick babiesThe unit has adequate spaceThe SNCU is staffed round the clock by a team which includes Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurses.

NEW BORN HEARING SCREENING

The significance of newborn hearing screening lies in the fact that when a baby is born with hearing loss, many sounds and voices are not heard, and the child’s speech and language development can be delayed and hence it needs to be identified very early so that remedial measures can be taken. The service of our Newborn Hearing Screening clinic is available from Monday to Saturday from 9am to 4pm.All babies born in our hospital come under the purview of this clinic and the babies are screened using Otoacoustic emissions(OAE)

POSTPARTUM UNIT

The Post Partum unit provides immunization on Mondays,Wednesdays and Saturdays. The activities include implementation of Pulse Polio immunization programme,co-ordination and execution of IEC programmes for women during ante natal and post natal period,surveillance of Vaccine Preventable Diseases(VPDs), provides advice on the importance of birth spacing and methods of contraception.The unit also distributes contraceptives like Oral Contraceptive Pills,Emergency Contraceptive Pills etc and also promotes IUCD,PPIUCD and methods of permanent sterilization like Minilap,Laparascopy etc. The Post Partum unit provides immunization on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays

DRUG STORE

The first air conditioned drug store in the district and the medicines are stored in clean,well lit and well ventilated rooms.The store is well stocked and comprises of around 400 drugs catering to the needs of our gynec and pediatric patients. The drugstore is setup in three different rooms and Narcotic medicines are kept as per the Narcotic act. The medicine which require cold storage are stored in four different refrigerators. Chemicals, lotion, dettol and bleaching powder are stored in isolated facilities. We also provide round the clock pharmacy services for inpatients and outpatients.
